We live out in the country and our address does not show on most GPS's. 541 Main Street, Montevallo, Al. This is the City of Montevallo Police Department Parking Area. We will NOT meet at any other location. ALL price negotiations are to be completed before pick-up.

You never know what we might have listed, nor do we!!! (Finally) ON WITH THE SALE!!!!! Up for your consideration is the Schwinn Stingray Pixie Bicycle shown in the (up to 12) photos. Other than rinsing off with water, We have not refurbished this item in any way.

We are not collectors, but, from our limited research, we think that this bicycle is from 1974. As you can see in the photo of the Schwinn catalog that we found online, the 1973 model had different seat and fenders and the 1975 had a different type chain guard. The 1974 ad looks like the one that we have listed. We have also been told that Schwinn at one time used a serial number code where the first three digits were the day number of the year and that the last number was the actual year that it was produced. The only number that we could find was stamped on the frame below the seat area.

This stamped number is 001494. So again, we think that this is a 1974 model, but we can not say that with 100% certainty. Bike frame is stamped 001494. The ad (see photo) indicates that this bike had a removable top bar so that it could be converted from a boy to girl style bicycle. We do NOT have that removable bar.

Bike frame DOES have some scratches and corrosion. Glitter Seat has a metal Schwinn label patent # D-204121. Seat has a hole on the top side, close to the back.

Metal front badge states Schwinn Chicago (no stamped date numbers). Decal on frame under seat indicates Schwinn Chicago. Training Wheels are marked Schwinn and have a patent number of 3401954. Training wheel tire rubber is worn. Tire rubber is worn (the rear is worn worse than the front).

Both Tires are 16 Schwinn Semi-Pneumatic (hard rubber). Both pedals endcaps have the Schwinn logo and read Schwinn Approved.
