Year of Manufacture: 1970 (Serial # JF69034). Place of Manufacture: Chicago, Illinois, USA. Frame Size: Women's/Step-Thru Cantilever Frame. Brakes: Bendix Coaster Brake (pedal back).
Saddle: Original Schwinn "S" Script Logo Saddle. Pedals: Original "Schwinn Approved" Block Pedals. This bicycle is in incredible survivor condition and has been well-preserved. It shows a beautiful, honest patina that can only be earned with age.
Paint & Decals: The original Campus Blue paint still has a fantastic shine. The original "Schwinn" script decals on the frame are in excellent condition. There are some small scratches, nicks, and marks consistent with careful use and storage, as shown in the photos. Chrome: The chrome fenders, handlebars, and crankset are in great shape with a bright shine. There may be minor signs of age or light pitting in some areas, but overall they present beautifully. Saddle: The original two-tone blue and white Schwinn "S" saddle is in fantastic condition with no rips or tears. Tires: The bike sits on its original Schwinn Westwind tires! This is a huge plus for collectors. They hold air, but due to their age (55 years old), they show some sidewall cracking and should be replaced for regular or daily riding. Mechanical: The bike rides and the Bendix coaster brake works as it should. It could likely benefit from a basic tune-up (lubricating the chain, checking bearings) to be in perfect riding order.
This is a vintage, as-is item. Please study all of the high-resolution photos carefully, as they are the primary indicator of the bike's condition.
