VTG 1963 Schwinn American Men's 26 Bicycle Radiant Blue All Original Barn Find

  
The Vintage Schwinn American Men's 26 Bicycle from 1963 in Radiant Blue is a classic and collectible piece of transportation. Made in the United States by Schwinn, this bicycle is all original and suitable for men. All original serial # J319058 (original Chicago Schwinn September 4th 1963). Storage shed find here in Elk Grove Village from original owner (one of my neighbors who is 93yrs old). Filled the tires and no leaks for 2 weeks. Spent 3 hours polishing chrome with Eagle One and 0000 steel wool. Safely removed surface rust and chrome does not appear to have rust under the chrome plating. A few dings on the chrome wheel covers but nothing horrible.

Still has original handle bars and all original parts which is very tough to find. I did not wrench anything on this bike.

Just filled with air and started polishing. I host a garage sale every Saturday if you want to stop by to check it out in person and take it for a test ride my home is right next to Busse Woods here in Cook County IL.
