For Sale; a Rare, Original Owner, Chicago Made, Schwinn Postwar Bicycle. Goes by Model #'s: B607 / B6 or B-6. New Department TriplSpeed Gear hub with coaster brake. Fenders with working Built-in Fenderlite (head light). Embossed Tank with Horn horn is not in tank but orig.

Top Grain Leather Mesinger spring seat. Also has Optional Schwinn equipped. And Cycelock Fork, with 3 Keys. Professionally Restored with some (NOS) New Old Stock parts.

Has New 26 Made in USA Carlisle Balloon, Whitewall Tires, one with the Original 1948 inner tube still inside it! New Paint, Pin-Striping and Decals.

Updated Brake and Shifter Cables. Looks and Rides Great, has some dust on it in photos but no rust. Comes with some extra parts. The Original Owner restored his childhood bike after it sat 25 years in his sister's Eastern Oregon barn.

As a child, he once installed a speedometer and got it up to 40 MPH on a Pendleton, Oregon down hill thrill ride! No high speed down hill rides have been attempted after being restored! Since the late 80's restoration, it has spent some time in parades and the rest safely stored in the owner's home, waiting for a new owner to enjoy! Message me for info you need.
