Vintage Schwinn Wheelset 26 #2303 S-7 Kickback

  
Here is a vintage 26" x 1 3/4" Schwinn wheel set. These rims are painted off white with dark pin stripes. They are sound but have patina. The rims are S-7 rims with 36 spokes each. The front rim has a Model 200 scripted hub. The rear rim has a Bendix "automatic" red band kickback 2 speed hub.

The back spokes are rusty and need either cleaned or replaced. Both rims spin pretty true. The 2-speed transmission worked when I rode it.

It came off a late 60's bike. They would be great for your "patina" bike or for restoration.
