This posting is for a 1973 Schwinn Sports Tourer. This is one of the fillet-brazed chromoly steel lightweight Schwinns; essentially hand-built. It's very original and amazingly clean; only a few tiny chips and imperfections on the original Opaque Blue finish to suggest that it's not brand new. It has a 3-piece aluminum alloy crank set (not the ugly steel crank of lesser Schwinns), chrome molybdenum frame...

Lightweight yet strong, 10-speed wide range rear derailleur, a wide range 5-gear cluster- a gear range of 32- to - 104, large flange quick release hubs, chrome plated spokes, aluminum Weinmann rims, drop style handlebars, chrome trimmed front fork. Saddle is a beautiful vintage Brooks leather B-15.
