Vintage Schwinn Typhoon Bicycle 24inch Radiant Red 1971 survivor Chrome. Original Schwinn 24" x 1 3/4" nylon cord tires. Forged steel fork, built-in kickstand. Hubs and Bottom Bracket just cleaned and serviced ready to ride, new KMC chain.

Serial Number at headtube: DG004997 April 1971. Nice original condition with original paint.

May have cosmetic sign of age / use. The rear of the Messenger seat has a small tear away in the rear of the seat, also a white paint marker has been used to make the seat white area look better. The tube tube has some paint and decal loss. Red paint has some scratches. Please see pictures as they are part of the description.

Tires are in okay shape. Pedals are a stingray repop and not original to the bike. 1971 nice rider, great starter bike for a young collector.

Great Christmas present or for a Holiday display. The bike has been disassembled, wrapped, packed up and measured. I will be making further improvements to this bike and may be parting it out.
