Hubs, crankcase, and fork do NOT feel crunchy but could certainly use a grease stripping and re-greasing and possibly new bearings. With the bike upside down, I free-rolled both wheels and both rolled freely for over 60 seconds. No visible sign of bearing wear.

Tires do show minor cracking and may have some dry rot. Wheels are not quite true and have not been adjusted in years, making for a slight warble. I aired up the tires and they appear to hold air, allowing a neighbor to ride the bike.
