Vintage Schwinn Middleweight Bicycle Front & Rear Rat Trap & Wire Reflector Rack (Your Choice from the Menu). The Racks are for use with 26 wheel bike and they Used and from Nice condition to Rough condition. The Aluminum Racks were used on the Earliest Middleweight Cruiser Bikes mid 1950s to the end of the 1950s, possibly into the 1960s. The first Middleweights Racks that were used were MayWeg, I think up to 1958, then the racks started being Labeled Schwinn Approved.

The Chrome Rat Trap racks were used on middleweights from 1960s and on. The Early Rear Wire Racks with Reflectors appeared at the end of the 50s, The Early / First ones had a round loop design leading to the rear braces used up to 1962.

In 1962 a Flat Design 62+ was offered on the Slimline Tank Bikes like: Fleet and American. The Flat 62+ became the Rack used 1963 and on.

These are Estimates from Experience, You need to do your own Research and Determine if the rack is right for you. All Rack selections are used, may have some rust, as removed, could use some detailing, brackets and braces may need some straightening, & parts may be missing. Check photos for your selection, Comes as Your Selection Shows. If your Selection says "NOBO" that means No Original Bolt and a Stainless Steel Bolt, Nut, and Washer was added to complete the rack, the Roughest racks will be NOBO. The 26" rack can be used on used on Vintage 26" Schwinn Bikes: American, Jaguar, Tiger, Panther, Corvette, Speedster, Co-Ed, Starlet, Hollywood, Debutante, Hornet, Fair Lady, Fleet, Typhoon, Miss Teen, Fiesta, Skipper, etc...
