Vintage 1968 Schwinn Stingray Deluxe with 3spd Shifter. My son is now nine years old and its not his style bike. Basically this is a fully functioning bike in pretty good condition but definitely not restored by any means.

When I originally got this I took everything apart I did a good cleaning but I did not restore it. I cleaned up the chrome the best I could several years ago and it improved greatly but it still pitted and will need some attention to make it perfect. The tires were holding air three years ago but I have not tested them now. The rear tire might be salvageable but the front tire is coming apart so it will have to be replaced.

Shifter is definitely working and I just ordered the shifter pulley/guide that mounts just below the seat post so you will receive it complete and in shifting condition right now the cable is in the clamp but dont worry I havent ridden like that. Both brakes are working and stopping the bike.

Basically this is a usable bike the way it sits, you just need to address the tire situation and probably the seat. Theres no cracks in the frame or anything that Im not telling you. So please make sure that you want the bike before purchasing. I will take off as little as possible.

Probably remove the pedals and maybe the tires. Looks like a cable receiver (speedometer or generator hookup) is on the front wheel behind the nut.
