Vintage prewar Bike Frame Fender Mount Repair Schwinn Bicycle Motorbike Klunker. Ive been into prewar cruisers a long time.. Many frames have splayed rear axle dropouts from years of torquing on and off nuts. Ive been tig welding these back to semi-original condition for years.

Ive been also repairing smashed rear fender brackets. It does seem expensive but it isnt fast, many hours cleaning, filing, fitting, welding.. The examples shown could be filed a bit better at the weld, but my bikes are klunkers, and they are much stronger and look way better than the smashed rusty pieces.

It is impossible to not ruin the paint around the heated area. I use a heat sink clay and wet rags, to keep it at a minimum. This is a combo fender bracket and rear dropout repair. I have other postings for only one or the other.

Once received Ill have the frame out within a week. If you want a really nice job, better than shown, expect to pay the full price.

If you want a rougher job please contact me and you can offer lower. I can also braze a piece in if you are really picky.
