An early Schwinn Sting-Ray white case speedometer head. These early Stingray speedometers were made by Stewart Warner in the mid to late 1960's. The speedometer head is in decent shape, it just needs a good cleaning and polishing to be really mint. There are some small cracks by the raised area where the drive cable attaches to the speedo head, but the cracks are still secure and probably could be glued from the inside to keep them from cracking more.
The clear cover is nice with no cracks. I tested the speedo by spinning a small screwdriver in the base where the cable would mount, and the needle moves when it is spun, so the head should be fine for use. Includes a mounting clamp for mounting the head to a Schwinn bike stem. This would be great detailed and added to a mint 1965 Schwinn Super Deluxe.
