Vintage Prewar / Postwar Dayton Huffman Ballooner Bike Springer Fork. This is a Vintage Dayton Huffman Ballooner Bicycle Springer Fork. Fork is off a 26 tire ballooner Mens Bike. The Fork tube is around 7 from the bottom of the race to the tip on the threads. Fork should be compatible with almost all Vintage Mens Frames so it may be used in Schwinn Bicycle Frames too. Fork is used, rebuilt, and re-chromed, the threads are good and Fork is in Great Mechanical Shape. Fork tube allows full stem insertion. This is a rare Fork and was introduced right before WW2 used on Deluxe Ballooner Bicycles and was used on some Deluxe Postwar Ballooner Bikes. This Fork was used on Dayton, Huffman, La France, and Other Huffman made Bikes, Plus some Western Flyer Bicycles also made by Huffman. With New Chrome this Fork would be good for a Full Restoration.
