Vintage Antique Prewar Wartime Schwinn New World bicycle

  
Looks to be in original condition. It has the rare AS&CO sprocket and original leather saddle showing wear. This one has blacked out fender braces and one tire has "WAR TIRE" molded into the original Goodyear. Not sure of the year. I believe it is 1941-42 BUT I DON'T KNOW FOR SURE!

The original paint is showing wear and the pinstriping is mostly gone with just a few vestiges here and there. The bike has rust, grime, dents in fenders, etc. A handgrip has a tear, the rear reflector is gone, and one fender brace rivet came out and was replaced by a bolt(see 11th pic).

What you see is what you will get! It's a 21" frame with an approximate 30" stand over height. The tires are 26"x 1.375". It is a one speed coaster brake bike with New Departure rear hub. This is a rare wartime Schwinn lightweight bike. It would make an awesome piece for a serious bicycle collection. UPS is who I will use!!
