Vintage American made Schwinn 3 sp bicycle from private collection, new upgrades

  

A 1966 Schwinn 3sp Chicago Deluxe Breeze. If i could keep this bike forever I would but Years are moving on now and i cannot keep everything. My gram rode and grandpa rode this bicycle along with a few others in the historical society parades and bicycle shows. There are some scratches from years of transport, small pitting on rims, my grandfather was obsessed with any bike being rusty, as you can see it's not too bad at all, but the bike is truly beautiful, it was always clean. The local dealer has installed a new front tire, a new rear tire, tubes and rim bands are in excellent condition, new shift cable, new brake cables, etc.

Extremely dependable, I just want this bike to go to a good home, it is excellent now for a daily rider, or collector. This would make me so happy to know that someone would be as happy as they were to have this bike. There is also a pic of an example of the care packing. This bike will last another 66 years, the gearing is self-contained and maintenance free. The saddle he has always kept it clean and soft with a leather wax, beautiful shifting, balanced rims, very tight braking.

Note: Extra patience and some mechanical knowledge required to set up a fendered bicycle. If there is no mechanical knowledge, please bring to bicycle shop to reassemble, just the basics are disassembled. Thank you very much for viewing my item.
