VINTAGE 50s TROXEL DELUXE SADDLE WITH CRASH RAIL FROM SCHWINN CORVETTE JAGUAR

This is a 1957 Troxel deluxe saddle from a 1957 Schwinn Corvette. It does not have a Schwinn tag on the back. I can't say why. Full size 10" x 9". It comes with a chrome crash rail and holes on the back. I have restored a bunch of Schwinn Corvettes, at least one of every year. They are my favorite since I had a nice blue 1959 model as a kid, I have a good knowledge of the Schwinn Corvette. In the early days of the Corvette 1955, 1956 and 1957, I have found several different saddles were used in the same year. By 1958 the saddles were standardized with one particular Mesinger each year.
