Vintage 26 Balloon Tire Bicycle Drop Center Rims Shelby Elgin Schwinn && NOS

  

Very minor patina from storage. These rims will actually clean up very nice looking with some 0000 steel wool and it is recommended to wax them for protection.

The spokes holes are large enough for. 080 (14 gage) or they can be drilled to. 105 (12 gage) spoke nipples. These rim were custom made back in the late 1980's and have very good quality chrome. The old style drop center looks just like the prewar and early postwar drop center rims.

A very nice looking set of rims. These are old stock UNUSED and when they are gone they will no longer be available. I CLEANED ONE FOR THE PICTURES USING 00 STEEL WOOL AND THE RIM SHINED UP NICELY BUT I WAS TOLD CHEMICALS WORK BETTER. When you done you can go to the cart and pay for them all at one time.
