Vintage 1991 Schwinn Paramount 54cm steel road bike by Waterford with Dura-Ace. This is a 54cm frame size with a 55cm top tube and a 100mm Salsa stem. Made by the Paramount Design Group (now known as Waterford) in Waterford, Wisconsin. The bike is in almost unused condition, the Neon orange paint is still vibrant and has not faded a bit. The frame is outfitted with a Dura-Ace 7400 component group, American Classic seatpost (27.4mm), Mavic Open Pro CD rims, new Victoria Zaffiro tires, Cinelli handlebar, Selle San Marco saddle and SPD pedals.
The cranks are 172.5 mm long and have 53/39 tooth chainrings, and the 8-speed Dura-Ace cassette is a 12-25T version. A good bike for an Eroica event (as long as you put on older pedals and go back to down-tube shifters), but really just a great riding steel bike for today. This bike has been overhauled (but a restoration was not needed) by Classic Cycle on Bainbridge Island, feel free to ask questions, but the photos here and on our website might answer them for you.
