Vintage Schwinn Voyageur 11.8 in very good condition. Some call it the "Poor man's Paramount".

Entire frame, components, wheels, and chain have been throughly cleaned and degreased. Clear coat is chipping in some areas, could be recoated. Brooks saddle was pretty dry when I got it.

I applied several rounds of Proofide to it. It's ridable, but there are shallow cracks in the saddle from storage. The leather between the small holes on one side has separated as well. Headset, hubs, and bottom bracket are all tight and roll smoothly. All original except the rear wheel, freewheel, and chain are not original.

But for almost 40 years old it looks good! I have built a very handsome bike using this frameset in 23 for myself. You can easily install 8speed 700c wheels on 32c tires without issues. This bike is begging to have index shifters! I have a full 9-speed Dura Ace grouppo that would look great on this frameset! Check out my other listings. Tubing : 4130 chrome-moly with double butted top and down tubes. Frame Chainstay length : 16 3/18. Head and seat mast angles : 73 degrees. Bottom bracket drop : 2 3/8. Rims : Araya alloy box (27" x 1 1/3") Hubs : Shimano low flange with quick release, free hub rear. Front & Rear derailleur : Shimano Altus LT. Shift levers : Shimano Altus LT. Crank set : Sugino Super Maxy, 170 mm arms, 40-52 chainwheels. Freewheel : Shimano freehub (13-28) six speed. Pedals : KKT Alloy quill with toe clips and straps.

Seat post : SR P3 (26.8 mm) with micro-adjust. Handlebars : SR alloy Stem : SR alloy. Seat tube C-T: 63.5cm or 25" C-C: 61.5cm or 24.25". Top tube C-C: 56.5cm or 22.25. Head tube: 20cm or 7.875.
