Vintage 1978 Schwinn Scrambler Bicycle with MAG wheels & banana bike seat
Vintage 1978 Schwinn Scrambler with MAG wheels and classic banana seat - this historical set of wheels was one of Schwinn's first attempts to enter the realm of BMX bikes! Modifications to the bike include the tires, the "Predator" frame pad, and the paint job. Tires hold air, chain is in decent shape, and bike is ready to ride! "Scrambler" logo on steering frame pad is very faint - probably not visible in pictures.
Serial number is clearly visible - KP517785 - indicating an October, 1978 manufacturing date. The MAG style wheels were added after the bike was bought. Frame measures 18 inches from center spoke to base of seat. Outer wheel diameter is 20 inches.
