Schwinn Paramount Road Bike, possibly a P12 model. I believe the bike to be original except for the wheels. The wheels are very nice Campagnolo Record high flange hubs with low mileage rims that are true. The bike comes with supple Panaracer 38c tires that fit very nicely.
I used it as a comfortable path riding bike. The flaws: paint has a lot of patina but not much rust. There's a dent on the bottom of the top tube that I tried to point to.Looks like it was caused by a workstand clamp? I hope I was not the one who did it. Campagnolo headset works fine but the chrome is flaking off on the top. Overall, a nice fun bike for sporty touring. Additional important information: Serial number J721.
I believe it means that the frame was built in Sep of 1967. Also, the size is as follows: 60cm seat tube center to center and 58 cm top tube center to center.Rear derailleur is Campagnolo Record with Patent Campagnolo on the top. No date on the derraileur. The crank is Stronglight steel. The model of the bike based on my research seems to be P12. The item "Vintage 1972 Schwinn Paramount Road Bike, All Original, Excellent Condition.
