Vintage 1971 Schwinn Orange Krate Stingray 5 Speed Stik Shift Atom Show Bike. This is a beautifully restored 1971 Schwinn Orange Krate. It is in immaculate condition, a museum worthy bike. With a BG serial number it rolled out of the factory in February of 1971. It has the cool 5 speed stick shift, springer front fork, Atom front drum brake, Gripper Slik rear tire on an S-2 rim, and a Schwinn Superior tire on the front S-7 rim.

The handlebars, stem, and crank all date to the correct year for the bike. It has a beautiful Pete seat on the original pan with the correct reflector tab mounted to the sissy bar and shocks with the Q bolts. Shocks and safety edge fenders are all mounted with the correct nuts and bolts.

The stik shift is correct for the era as well as the rear derailleur. Orange cable coverings over the correct grey cable housing with orange and silver glitter streamers and the orange checkered flag valve caps for some added eye candy.

Brake levers rear brake are correct. The bike has been powder coated and it was done extremely well. This bike is absolutely amazing. Mechanically the bike works very well. The drum brake works well, along with the rear, and the shifting is spot on. The bike will be professionally packed to ensure this bike makes it to you in the same shape that it leaves our shop.
