Vintage 1971 Schwinn Lemon Peeler Stingray Krate 5 Speed Stik Shift Atom Drum. This beautiful Schwinn Lemon Peeler rolled off of the line in October of 1971. This bike is in beautiful shape for its age. The paint is original with some wear in various areas that is shown in the photos. The stem and crank both date to the correct year for the bike. The handlebars appear to be from 1972 or 1973 as there is a gouge in the second number making it very hard to confirm what year they are from. The seat has the original pan with metal tab and the cover appears to be original as well as the tolex feels older than a "Pete Seat" that has been recovered. Rims are correct as well as brake levers, spring fork, and seatpost clamp. The fenders are reproduction fenders but they are extremely clean. Take a look at all of the pictures of this museum worthy muscle bike from back in the day. Gold glitter streamers have been added to the bike along with a yellow chain lock for some added flair and mojo. Mechanically the bike has been gone over to make sure that all of the brakes and shifting works well.
