Up for sale is a beautifully preserved, highly original 1970s Schwinn Varsity 10-speed road bike in a vibrant, classic opaque yellow. Built with Schwinn's legendary Chicago-made electro-forged steel frame, this vintage cruiser is incredibly sturdy and an iconic piece of American cycling history. This bike stands out for its high level of originality and comes fully loaded with period-correct, highly sought-after vintage accessories. It is an excellent candidate for a light restoration, a reliable vintage daily commuter, or a standout addition to a classic bicycle collection.

Original Components: Features the classic Schwinn Chicago oval seat tube decal, Schwinn-approved mattress saddle, and the iconic "Twin-Stick" stem shifters emblazoned with the "S" logo. Highly Collectible S-6 Rims: Equipped with factory-original Schwinn Tubular S-6 stamped chrome rims. Tire Condition: Fitted with 27" x 1-1/4" tires.

One tire is in great condition and holds air perfectly. The other tire shows age-related dry rot and will need to be replaced before any serious riding.
