Vintage 1969 Schwinn FASTBACK Stingray 5 Speed Wheelset Side Stamped S-5 VGC. Offered in this listing is a nice used 1969 dated Schwinn S-5 Fastback Stingray 5 speed wheelset.

I went through this wheelset doing a thorough cleaning and re-pack of the bearings. Spokes were then re-tensioned and the wheels true. The wheels spin nicely, aside from a small ding on the rear rim sidewall, the side stamped S-5 rims look clean with no bad dent or dings. They cleaned up pretty well, but both have some rust spots and patina (see pics). Great wheelset for an original bike.
