Mens Vintage Schwinn Deluxe Typhoon Cruiser. 26 Schwinn Tubular S-7 Chrome Rims-Original. This cruiser was used on a Wisconsin campus for the first part of its life. Then moved to the Duluth, MN area where it was stored in an outbuilding for many years, rode a handful of times, and I acquired it two years ago, I tuned it up and have been riding it in the summer months at our lake place with no issues, fun cruiser that gets looks/comments. So Heres an original 66 Typhoon thats ready to ride and has a great patina look, one you could call a Sleeper, as it has the antique look but cruises just as good as some modern, The bike does cruises down the street, no issues, no major wobbling.

Original Blue Paint-whichs still shines nice for the most part, obvious signs of aging but all surface, good lettering, though the chaingaurd shows fading, no frame damage or issues. See pictures for best description. Fenders are straight for the most part, perhaps few small dings but solid. Pretty good chrome on the bike for its age.

It does have your expected peppering here/there but no major pitting. Original hand grips & pedals show wear/weathering but fine. Schwinn S saddle is comfy, has obvious fade/weathering but no damage or rips/tear. The Tubular rims spin good, like most its age, not perfect but good to cruise as is. Front spins true, rear has few loose spokes that if adjusted, would true it up, but as stated I rode it as is for years, no issues.

Overall a good solid 66 Typhoon that you can cruise as is, or would be an excellent bike to restore as its all here. Please study pictures for best description.
