Vintage 1966 Schwinn Twinn Tandem Bicycle All Original Blue. Bike is all original except I believe the tires are not. This one has a basket! The rear neck/seat post clamp has a quick release lever, which I find to be awesome. As expected for its age, there are some minor blemishes to the paint and some minor rust spots on the chrome. The rims are the original Schwinn S7 26 inch rims Serial number on frames rear dropout is LB57699. The rear Bendix hub has RB2 USA PAT. PEND, BENDIX written on the side. The front hub is a hub that was made in Germany.

Took it for a ride and is fully functional with rear coaster brake for stopping. The bike also has a functional front brake.

The leather sttaps holding the basket to the handlebars are dry and are almost torn where they have sat folded in the buckle for years... I must warn that one side is ready to tear and may do so when I remove them again. These straps should be expected to be replaced. Also the basket has a metal holder on the bottom which is well in tact.

The bottom of the basket is a thin wood which could use refurbishing as well. Please take a moment to check out my other items.
