Vintage 1965 Violet Schwinn Super Sport Road Bike. Beautiful Vintage Used Schwinn Super Sport Road bike from 1965 as Found. The Super Sport was one of Schwinn's better Road bikes and was Fillet Brazed in the Paramount Factory / Division. The bike Bike Size: is a 24", that is 24" Crank Center to Top or the seat mast (Clamp Top).

In Metric the Bike is 58cm center to center seat tube and 57cm center to center top tube. This is an Excellent Example or an Early Super Sport.

The Bike is used, shows little wear, has some knicks and scratches, as found, I dusted it off to handle and take pictures. A Great Bike as found, Needs a Total Rebuild and Detailing to be a Mint Collector bike, a great winter project. Although a Beautiful Bike it probably not ridable due to congealed grease, needs an total rebuild. The Paint is Sweet and is the Classic Radiant Violet Color used in the 1960s, Its Beautiful, it does some scratches and knicks.

Parts look all original early Schwinn Sprint parts, rare rivet on sprint logo rear Derailleur, Weinmann rims tires are 27" x 1 1/4". I know some of the Sprint Parts were used one or 2 years, and hard to come by. Only Odd thing I see is the front hub is a quick release Normandy hub an rear bolt on Sprint hub, both have the same Weinmann Rims. Amazing Early Super Sport Bicycle.
