Vintage 1962 Schwinn Superior Road Bike, 15 speed, Good Condition. Rides, shifts and brakes well.

Bicycle is outfitted with the same vintage equipment it came with as a 1962 model. Titan alloy handlebars with white tape, white Weinmann brake hoods, engraved Weinmann calipers with quick release, Brooks B15 saddle, Titan stem, correct Huret Allvit front and rear derailleurs, Huret triple (40/47/52) chain set, correct Atom pedals, Christophe toe clips and white Lapize toe straps, Atom freewheel, original Weinmann aluminum rims. Normandy alloy high flange quick release hubs.

4130 chrome-moly fillet-brazed main frame with 1020 carbon steel rear stays. Huret forged rear dropouts with integral derailleur hanger. You will note that this bicycle is currently fitted with Simplex bar end shifters from that era, however you will receive the correct down tube shifters and white boots, which can be easily swapped out.

Standover height on this one is about 30-inches. Numerous spares are provided, including. New original pattern stock shift. Cable housing, white handlebar tape, spare front derailleur.
