It was given to her by her uncle who said it was a WWII Women's Auxilary Corps (WAC) bike. However, after researching the serial number I found out that it was manufactured in 1957. It looks like a WAC bike. It has all the original Schwinn parts including the fenders, frame, badge, handlebars, grips, pedals, chain guard, seat, rims, Bendix brake arm, and 26 Schwinn tires. It is missing the chain and rear reflector.
It was repainted yellow at some point in time. The serial number 7E62945 is stamped on the left rear wheel bracket.I travel between the Bay Area and Lake County, Ca, and can drop off along the way.
