Schwinn Volare Reynolds 531 vintage frame, 62cm X 59cm, Chrome, RARE

  

The'Japanese Paramount' Schwinn Volare, full reynolds 531 frame. Iconic even to this day. Paint is useable, original, and fair for it's age, with many chips and some peeling as this is paint over chrome so does not stick that well. But Chrome looks really nice however, some very slight pitting. Dura Ace headset, and I will add a set of bars with SR stem.

You certainly don't see many on the market. Frame: Schwinn designed diamond style of Reynolds 531 double-butted tubing. Fork crown, head lugs and 6 of front and rear fork tips chrome plated. One of my favorite features is the 2 pips on downtube, for both shifters and near BB for cable guide to prevent sliding up(I have not seen these BB stops anywhere else).

Does have headbadge, 531 decals but Schwinn decals gone so no writing on frame. This would look great with all chrome (all paint stripped off), Honjo Fenders. This can easily be resprayed, even rattle canned, as decals gone, and would look good/ much better.
