Schwinn Sierra Mountain Bike, 1988 Vintage Very Good

  
20 frame C to C. 4130 Chrome-Moly Main Tubes and Stays. Made in Taiwan by Giant for Schwinn. Date stamp on head badge is 978. The stamp on bottom of frame is GZ666166.

Haven't found a reference for that. The bike is all original except for handle upgraded grips, seat and tires. I replaced the off road tires with more road friendly tire with good grip. Not more than 100 miles on these. I had it all tuned up a few years ago and haven't ridden it since.

100% functional, nothing wore out. A real nice trail and street bike. Always stored in climate controlled environment.
