Pre war Schwinn C Model Standard Roadster Z12000 Genuine Vintage Unrestored

  
This is a prewar Schwinn C model Standard Roadster. Since I have owned it this has been my vintage rider. I do not know a whole lot about it. The frame number is Z12000 but I still do not know what year it is possibly 1936 or early 1937? This has really nice patina, I believe it has original paint and some older touchup which is mostly part of the patina by now. The Clay red tires are reproduction and although they hold air they are checked. The patina matches everything but the fenders were replaced and are too nice for the rest of the bike but they do have a few scrapes and scratches from use now. I planned on riding it till they matched the patina on the rest of the bike. I do not know what is correct or has been replaced. It has the 1936 style locking fork. I put a different seat on the original seat springs but it will come with the original seat but the cover is torn and worn. The second to last photo is of the original seat (I believe it is the original seat as it is the one that was on the bike when I got it). The coaster brake does not work well at all but it does ride nicely.
