ORIGINAL OWNER-Vintage Schwinn 1971 Sky Blue Stingray Fastback Bicycle 5 Speed

  

This beauty was built in the Chicago Schwinn factory in January 1971. This bike is in very good original unrestored condition right down to the original factory installed front tire and rear reflector.

Everything on this bike is original and still intact. The smell of the rubber tires have never left my memory.

Out of all the different models and colors to choose from on display, the Sky Blue Stingray Fastback chrome center mounted 5 speed shifter, banana seat and raised handlebars was definitely "The One". I hope the next owner enjoys this bike as much as I have either putting it on display or making it road worthy "old school" style being it's a real head turner. Bike is in very good shape considering the age and was always garage stored for over 4 decades. There are a few signs of wear considering I rode the bike myself. Original tires which would need to be replaced to restore the bike back to "true mint" safe riding condition.
