A NOS Schwinn Approved Sedis 5-Speed bicycle chain. The chain is Made in France by Sedis. This is the stock chain used on the Schwinn Sting-Ray, Krate, and Fastback muscle bikes. Schwinn Approved part number 51 070 in the box, dated 1969.

The chain is very nice even after all these years. It was stored in the original box and the original grease from the factory is still applied.

I would wipe the chain down to remove any dust prior to use. The chain includes the pin to connect the end links. These chains were also used on other Schwinn 5-Speed and 10-Speed bicycles during the same years like the Suburban, Varsity, and Continental.
