NOS Vintage 48 Inch Banana Seat Muscle Bike Roll Bar Sissy for Schwinn Stingray

  

A NOS 48 Inch bicycle Roll Bar Sissy bar. This I believe this sissy bar is from West Coast Cycle Supply, a bicycle accessory supplier in the late 1960's and early 1970's in California. This may also be the sissy bar offered by Schwinn as Schwinn Approved accessory in their Parts and Accessories catalog.

The bar is a full 48 inches tall and has a flat area with three holes for axle mounting on the bottom. The bar is straight without any bend back or taper at the top. The seat mounting hole is 17 1/4 inches from the first axle mounting hole at the bottom of the bar, 18 1/4 inches to the second hole, and 19 1/4 to the last hole. The chrome on this one is very nice from top to bottom. This one has very little shelf wear and shines great.
