Mead Cycle Co Windsor Bicycle Teens or 1920's Pre-war Vintage Schwinn

  
This is a teens or 1920's Era Mead Windsor. Made in Chicago and very original. Frame is 20.5 from center to top of seat tube. Standover with these flat crusty tires is 32. I removed the dogleg crank to look for a date and is says AS&CO (Arnold Schwinn) on one side and E 40 on the other side.

So this must have been replaced. Rear hub is a very early New Departure.

Serial number starts with a 21 and what may be 03 and the rest is hard to tell. Too nice to part out. Please ask any questions about the bike, I will try to respond promptly.
