63 Schwinn Traveler 26 wheels Shiny blue paint, 3 speed Great condition

  

1963 SCHWINN TRAVELER 3-SPEED W/ ORIGINAL BLUE PAINT. Fully functional Sturmey archer 3 speed drive train (stamped'63 as well) with 26 1 3/8 S5 wheels. Front and rear Schwinn caliper brakes. Bow pedals in great condition.

It is in the original, very shiny blue factory paint. 26 1 3/8 tires hold air and have plenty of tread.

Rims are true with no rust. Original screened logos are in good condition. Shiny chrome with no dings on fenders. Fully functional "Miller" headlamp and taillamp powered by dynamo. Schwinn bow pedals in great shape.

Looks all OEM except for seat which is a vintage aftermarket seat. Wide cruiser handlebars, Schwinn white hand grips, original sharkfin front fender with original rear fender.

Starburst headbage in great condition. This bike was quality made in Chicago, great for campus or around town, and looking for new adventures. The bike has chrome Schwinn rims front and rear. Rear reflector with unique badge registration on rear fender. DIMENSIONS: The distance from the floor to the top of the seat post clamp is approximately 28.5.

The distance from the center of the crank to the top of the seat post clamp is approximately 18. The center of the handlebar stem to the center of the seat post is approximately 21. The seat height is easy to adjust. This bike draws many smiles.

NOTE:It is not 100% flawless but it is in outstanding shape for its age! The paint, decals, badge, and chrome look great. Paint has some chips and is very shiny. Chrome is very shiny with no dings. See pictures and feel free to ask for additional photos.
