26" x 2.125" Chrome S-2 Style Coaster Brake Wheel Set for Vintage Schwinn Balloon Tire Cruiser Bicycles (with Tire Option Choices). This is a New 26" x 2.125" Chrome S-2 Style Knurled Rim or Smooth Rim Wheel Set with Coaster Brake for New Cruisers and Vintage Schwinn Balloon Tire Bicycles. The Wheel's Rim profile is a squarish and round domed in the middle, it is approximately 38mm wide and 17mm tall, it is a copy of Vintage Schwinn S-2 Rims.

It's Not a very close copy of a S-2 rim, it's just Knurled (lines in the rim) like OG S-2 Rims. I like them and we have built many cruisers with them and very pleased with look & performance. I prefer original equipment but when your wheels are toast this is a great option. The Smooth Version is basically the same wheel set minus the Knurling of a S-2. The 26" x 2.125" Wheel and Tire set up is Considered a Fat Tire, Ballooner, Heavy Weight Set up Popular on Vintage Postwar Schwinns like: Black Phantom, DX, B-6, Phantom, Panther, Hornet, Streamliner, Wasp, Heavy Duty, Flying Star, Starlet, Early Hollywood, Spitfire, etc.... Late 1947 into the 1950s and Very Popular on Chopper & Cruisers Today. Tip: These wheels are a decent Replacement option for S-7 wheels on a middle weight cruiser if you are NOT using Fenders. The Rims are single walled Chrome Plated Steel 36 hole with a 559 BSD. The Wheels are Laced with Heavy Duty spokes to a KT Coaster brake with 3/8" Diameter axle and a the front hub with 3/8" axle. Please Keep in mind a Front 3/8 Diameter Axle is Now Industry Standard to be used with Newer Cruiser Bikes. Vintage Bicycles used 5/16" axles so the fork dropout will have to be widened with a grinder for the 3/8" axle to work.

The Wheels are New Quality product, we have been using these for years on our Retro Cruisers with Great Service and look sharp with a Black or Whitewall Tire Combinations. A Nice Balloon Tire with a large Round Profile. Wheels and Tires are Nice Reproductions but Do NOT Say Schwinn and are stamped made in taiwan. All Tire Choices will come Wheels with rim strips and tubes. Wheels Only means it DOES NOT Include Tires, Tubes, and Rim Strips.
