This is our One Stop Shop for all our Classic Old School 26" Steel Tube Forks for use with 26" Wheels. Chrome Uncut or Black Uncut Fork from LuxLow : Fork is a Full length as Manufactured, made to be cut down to the size you need. It is Quality Chrome Steel, it has 1 1/8" tubular Fork Blades, it accepts a 100mm wide front hub, takes a 7/8" or 22.22mm Diameter quill stem, and has enough Clearance for Fat 26" x 3.0" Monster Size Cruiser Tires. The axle center to bottom of the fork crown is approximately 14" or 356mm and the axle center to the brake pivot hole is approximately 14 1/2" or 368mm.

Fork Tube is 1 " Threaded for 1" Threaded Headsets. The Fork Tube is approximately 9 7/8" or 250mm long with 5 5/8" or 150mm of threading. The Steer tube in more than enough for most all applications and will require to to cut it down for your application.

MEASURE MANY TIMES and BE SURE BEFORE YOU CUT! Keep in Mind the Headset Height, Head tube Height and Top Nut Height.

Fork Requires a 27mm Crown Race. Uncut is the Best option for some one that is handy with and has tools, can measure & cut for custom installation, has time and would like to save a few Bucks. Schwinn 5.5Head Cut from LuxLow : Comes in Chrome or Black. New Schwinn Cut Tubular Fork & Headset for use with Post War Schwinn Frames with a 5 1/2 Head tube. The Fork is Quality Chrome Steel, has 1 1/8" tubular Fork Blades, accepts a 100mm wide front hub, takes a 7/8" or 22.22mm Diameter quill stem, and has enough clearance for Fat 26" x 3.0" Monster Size Cruiser Tires.

This Fork is a Custom Postwar Version for Postwar Schwinn Bike Frames with a 5 1/2 Head tube (That's the head tube measurement without cups) So that's Typically Most Postwar Vintage Schwinn Bikes, Mans and Ladies. Fork also works with 1941 Prewar Schwinn Mens Bikes with a 5 3/8 Head tube. You can pretty much assume this fork fits most All Vintage 26 wheel Schwinn Cruiser Bikes from 1941 to 1980. Fork comes with a " Threaded headset with 32.5mm cups (32.5" Fits Schwinn and CWC Bikes), we Strongly Suggest you use use the Headset Provided for Seamless Fit and Performance. The 27mm Crown Race is installed on the fork for your convenience, The Crown Race provided does not work well with Schwinn Flat Type Bearings, Which is why we recommend the headset supplied. In rare cases some old bikes may of seen too much excessive use and the head tube is stretched, making the cups a loose fit, in that event a shim may be needed for a tight fit. This is our Convenient Direct Install Version for Vintage Chicago Built Schwinn Frames with a 5 1/2 head tube and was measured & cut to our supplied headset stack height. If your using your own headset you should use the Uncut version measure and cut your length yourself. (PW Sch) Prewar Schwinn 5Head Cut from LuxLow : Comes in Chrome or Black. New Prewar Schwinn Cut Tubular Fork & Headset for use with Prewar Schwinn Mens Frames with a 5 Head tube. This Fork is a Custom Prewar Version for Prewar Schwinn Bike Frames with a 5 Head tube (That's the head tube measurement without cups) So thats Typically Most Prewar Mens Bikes before 1941. Will Not work with some 1940 and 1941 Prewar mens bikes that have the 5 1/2 Head tube which is the Postwar Standard. Fork Does Not work with Prewar Ladies Schwinn Bikes that have different head tube sizes. Fork comes with a 1" Threaded headset with 32.5mm cups (32.5" Fits Schwinn and CWC Bikes), we Strongly Suggest you use use the Headset Provided for Seamless Fit and Performance. Fork and Headset will also fit Prewar CWC Bikes with a 5" Head tube and post war CWC with a 5 1/8" Head tube. This is our Convenient Direct Install Version for Vintage Prewar Chicago Built Schwinn Frames with a 5 head tube and was measured & cut to our supplied headset stack height. 1Threaded Cruiser Headset from LuxLow: Comes in Chrome, Black, & Gold We Strongly suggest this Headset because it is proven its self in use and compatibility. New Classic Cruiser Head Set 22.2mm x 32.5mm x 27mm. That have 1 Threaded Springer Forks. The Cups fit a Classic Cruiser Head Tube that has a 32.5 mm or 1 9/32" opening "also AKA Cup Diameter. 32.5mm Frame Head tube is Very Common, Fits Most Newer Cruiser & Lowrider Bikes, Vintage Chicago Schwinns - Ballooner - Middle Weight - lightweight- Most all American BMX Bike Frames, May Not Work with English & Canadian BMX Bikes, and works with Vintage CWC Cleveland Welding Company made bikes. DOES NOT work with HP Snyder / Rollfast, Huffman / Huffy, and a Few other Antique Bikes.

The top Nut has a 22.2mm or 7/8 opening for stems of that size. Top cone nut and a washer. The bearings are 15 x 3/16 ball retainers. The Bottom Crown Race fits Vintage and Newer forks with a 27mm or 1 1/16 race lip. Top Nut May or May NOT be the one shown as they sometimes come in with a different top nuts.
