Here is an original APRIL 1975 VINTAGE (serial number is DL) mens Schwinn Collegiate Sport "Fastback" 5-speed road cruiser bicycle with 26 wheels. It is in the mostly original and very appealing KOOL LEMON YELLOW colored factory paint. (Lemon Peeler Krate color) If you like UNIQUE original bikes, this may be a great bike for you. With the insanely high price of gas (and the economy being bad) now is the time to ride a cool vintage bike! I sell a lot of these 24" and 26" style Fastback style bikes and frames....

THIS BIKE is what everyone that gets them likes to do with them! This bike has a cool mens "Fastback" style frame and forks with original paint and decals, original screen chainguard, (would be cool with a Manta Ray decal) vintage banana seat, (has wear) chrome Schwinn sissy bar, Schwinn Manta Ray style apehanger handlebars, Schwinn hand grips, Schwinn pedals, and more! This frame is COOL and you almost never see them! I always thought it would be awesome to make a full size adult Schwinn Fastback or Manta Ray bike and well...

A lot of people talk about doing this and never get around to it. I thought about keeping this one and adding a STIK SHIFTER to it! I heard these bikes are getting crazy popular in California these days! PRICED WAY LESS THAN AN ORIGINAL MANTA RAY AND JUST AS MUCH FUN!

Skip all that and have some fun right now! The tires are 26x1 3/8. They are vintage tires and do hold air.

The bike has chrome Schwinn S6 rims front and rear. The bike is an original Five -Speed with hand controlled brakes.

The gears shift and the brakes are operable. May need fine tuning adjustment or possible cable replacement0. DIMENSIONS The standover height is approx 29 1/2. The distance from the floor to the top of the seat post clamp is approx 27.

The distance from the center of the crank to the top of the seat post clamp is approx 17 1/2. The center of the handlebar stem to the center of the seat post is approx 20 1/2. The bike will accomadate most any rider comfortably.

The seat height is easy to adjust. NOTED FLAWS It is not 100% flawless but is not bad for its age! I love the fact that the bike still wears its original paint!

(has chips scratches etc) NOTE the top bars and top of the guard have been touched up. Overall it is a cool looking bike! The chrome is shiny but is not perfect show quality. Both wheels have a slight wobble when you spin them. (most every used bike out there seems to) THIS BIKE IS OVER THE TOP COOL! This appears to be a fairly nice original unmolested bicycle unless otherwise noted.

A great bike to ride on relaxing days through the park or to the beach. Also would be a nice item to display in a shop, restaurant, rec room, sports bar, etc. Stand out from the crowd and be the envy of people who see you riding by. People will enjoy seeing you on your vintage bike! A great classic bike at a great price.

These are getting to be hard to find in any condition and to my knowledge, have not been reproduced.
