1974 SCHWINN HEAVY DUTI MENS VINTAGE CRUISER BICYCLE TYPHOON PHANTOM S7 HORNET! Here is an original March 1974 VINTAGE (The serial number is CK) men's SCHWINN "HEAVY DUTI" beach cruiser bicycle with 26 wheels. It is in the original and very appealing KOOL LEMON YELLOW (lemon peeler krate yellow) colored factory paint. If you like cool HARD TO FIND original bikes, this may be a great bike for you.

With the insanely high price of gas (and the economy being bad) now is the time to ride a cool vintage bike! This bike has a cool mens cruiser style frame and forks with original paint and decals, original screen Schwinn chainguard, (would look nice with a fresh decal) Schwinn cruiser style seat, wide cruiser handlebars, Schwinn comfort hand grips, full fenders, and more! The tires are 26x1 3/4. They are vintage tires and do hold air. The bike has chrome Schwinn S-7 rims front and rear with a Bendix rear hub. The bike is an original SINGLE SPEED with coaster brakes. (pedal slightly backwards to stop the bike) DIMENSIONS The stand over height is approx 30 1/4. The distance from the floor to the top of the seat post clamp is approx 28 1/4. The distance from the center of the crank to the top of the seat post clamp is approx 18 1/2. The center of the handlebar stem to the center of the seat post is approx 21 3/4. The bike will accommodate most any rider comfortably. The seat height is easy to adjust.

NOTED FLAWS It is not 100% flawless but is not bad for its age! The paint looks ok for a 40+ year old bike! (has obvious chips, scratches, paint loss, etc) The chrome is shiney but is not perfect show quality.

Both wheels have a slight wobble when you spin them. (most every used bike out there seems to).

Spokes seem very slightly thinner. I see a lot of vintage bikes and you RARELY see these well built HEAVY DUTY bikes! I love the middleweight series of Schwinn bikes of this era! (Jaguar, American, Panther, Skipper, Hollywood, Tiger, Speedster, etc). This appears to be a fairly nice original unmolested bicycle unless otherwise noted.

A great bike to ride on relaxing days through the park or to the beach. Also would be a nice item to display in a shop, restaurant, rec room, sports bar, etc. Stand out from the crowd and be the envy of people who see you riding by.
