1973 SCHWINN FASTBACK STINGRAY SUNSET ORANGE MUSCLE BIKE KRATE VINTAGE WAS STIK! Here is a rare original MARCH 1973 SCHWINN STINGRAY "FASTBACK" 20 BICYCLE! (CJ Serial Number) This bike is from the era when most everything was cool! The HEMICUDA, Mach 1 Mustang, and Camaro Z-28 come to mind! This one is COOL and is in the hard to find "Sunset Orange" factory colored paint! This bike has been in VERY long term storage and has not been owned by collectors. Be the first to get this bike back into the light and enjoy it! The bike is in the original and very appealing Sunset Orange factory painted color. (Popular on the Orange Krate bikes but you rarely see a Fastback in this color) The bike has cool wide apehanger handlebars, matching Schwinn hand grips, chrome fenders front and rear, cool rear sissy bar and so much more!

I dont know where you would find another like it! The bike is an original 5-speed STICK SHIFT! (you can see evidence of where the shifter originally was but was converted to a single speed at some point) Has the cool coaster krate "mag" sprocket in place. The seat is cool factory black with a Stingray tag on the rear!

(ripped) This one has Schwinn S5 rims front and rear. This one 20x1 3/8 Schwinn tires front and rear and they do hold air! I LOVE the rear Schwinn Stingray Fastback tire!

Ive never seen one quite like it! This bike was recently removed from VERY long term storage. I got this from the son of a man who owned a Schwinn shop in Ohio. He said this one was traded in a long time ago on a new bike and has been in storage ever since! This one has not seen the light of day in a long time. A chainguard and recovered seat will make this one awesome! Has some parts that would fit your Apple (or any) krate bike as well! (bars, super cool shifter, mag sprocket, bow pedals, etc etc etc) Now is your chance to own one of the COOLEST bikes EVER MADE! Make someone in your life happy with this one.

They were all abused and thrown away back in the 1970s-80s. Finding one these days is a big challenge. They are very cool and people enjoy owning, riding, and displaying them!

Most people do not sell these bikes once they have them. Be the first to get this bike back out in the light and have fun with it! I believe this to be a fairly nice original unmolested bicycle unless otherwise noted. NOTED FLAWS It is not 100% flawless but is ok for a 4 0 + year old boys bike!

The paint looks is original but and is ok for its age! (has chips scratches wear etc) I LOVE bikes with original paint!

The chrome is shiney but is not perfect show quality. Both wheels have a slight wobble when you spin them. (most every used bike out there seems to) The bike does not have a chainguard. This is a cool bike! Use it for its hard to find parts or restore it.

Finding one that has been in long term storage is a rare find these days! Sorry for the LONG description, these bikes really excite me. People will ENVY you when you ride by at a car show or on the street with this bike! I try to list anything I notice with the bike.

Keep in mind this is a vintage bike that has probably not been ridden for a while so it may need minor tuning, bearings greased, polishing, etc, These bikes are getting harder to find and are more popular than ever before! You will enjoy owning, riding, and displaying it for years! People always remember these bikes but seldom see them in person. I take them in to have them packaged so they almost always arrive in the same condition as they left us. Fed Ex just increased the rates.
