1973 SCHWINN FASTBACK STINGRAY 5-SPEED STIK SHIFT MUSCLE BIKE KRATE VINTAGE! Here is a rare original July 1973 SCHWINN STINGRAY "FASTBACK" 20 BICYCLE!

(GJ Serial Number) This bike is from the era when most everything was cool! The HEMICUDA, Mach 1 Mustang, and Camaro Z-28 come to mind!

This is one of the coolest bikes made by Schwinn! They look cool and are great riding bikes! The bike is in the original and very appealing KOOL LEMON YELLOW factory painted color. (Popular on the regular Stingray Lemon Peeler Krate bikes but you rarely see a Fastback in this color) The bike has cool wide apehanger handlebars, matching Schwinn hand grips, cool accessory yellow brake lever covers, chrome fenders front and rear, cool rear sissy bar, Schwinn block style pedals, and so much more!

I dont know where you would find another like it! The bike is an original 5-speed STICK SHIFT with operable hand controlled brakes.

And it HAS the overload tube in place Has the cool krate "mag" sprocket in place. The bike shifts and brakes. (will need fine tune adjustment) The seat is cool and has the original STINGRAY tag on the rear as well as the rear reflector hanger. (has rips) This one has Schwinn S6 rims front and rear. The front is a Schwinn 20x1 3/8' The rear is a Schwinn FASTBACK slik tire!

They are the tires this one was born with when it was new! This one has the correct ORIGINAL SCREEN 5-speed chainguard. This bike spent the last couple decades hanging over above a clean dry city garage above a 1969 Dodge Charger! (true story) This one has had the SAME OWNER SINCE NEW!

I believe this bike to be mostly original parts from when it was new. (See pics and be your own expert). This one was discovered locally and has not been owned by the collectors. Be the first to get this one back in the light and enjoy it!

They were all abused and thrown away back in the 1970s-80s. Finding one these days is a big challenge. They are very cool and people enjoy owning, riding, and displaying them! Most people do not sell these bikes once they have them. Be the first to get this bike back out in the light and have fun with it!

I believe this to be a fairly nice original unmolested bicycle unless otherwise noted. A great bike to display, ride and enjoy, or restore. Would also be a great source of parts for your Schwinn Fastback boys bicycle! (would be a shame to see this used for parts but the choice is yours) You do not see these often! A great way to round out your collection or to start one!

RIGHT NOW I have a matching PAIR of both a girls Schwinn Stardust as well as a boys stik shift Schwinn Fastback for sale right now on 2 different listings! NOTED FLAWS It is not 100% flawless but is ok for a 45+ year old boys bike! I LOVE original paint but has obvious chips scratches etc. The chrome is shiney but is not perfect show quality.

Both wheels have a slight wobble when you spin them. (most every used bike out there seems to) These bikes rarely come along! Would need a resto for show or enjoy it in its current patina.

Finding one that has been in long term storage is a rare find these days! I took lots of pics and have nothing to hide. Please look closely for exact condition.

This is a cool bike in the RIGHT color! The Fastback bikes ride much nicer than the kool KRATE bikes! (they look awesome but these ride much better) I hope you enjoy this! These do not come along often! Sorry for the LONG description, these bikes really excite me.

People will ENVY you when you ride by at a car show or on the street with this bike! I try to list anything I notice with the bike. Keep in mind this is a vintage bike that has probably not been ridden for a while so it may need minor tuning, bearings greased, polishing, etc, These bikes are getting harder to find and are more popular than ever before!
