1971 SCHWINN STINGRAY BOYS KOOL YELLOW BANANA SEAT MUSCLE BIKE VINTAGE S7 SLIK. Here is a rare original March 1971 SCHWINN STINGRAY 20 BICYCLE!

(CG Serial Number) This bike is from the era when most everything was cool! The HEMICUDA, Mach 1 Mustang, and Camaro Z-28 come to mind! This bike is in very original condition. In fact, as far as I can tell, nearly every single part of this bike is original. SEE PICS and be your own judge!

This bike has been in long term storage and has not been owned by collectors. Be the first to get this bike back into the light and enjoy it! The bike is in the original and very appealing KOOL LEMON YELLOW (Lemon Peeler Krate color) factory painted color. The bike has cool style frame and forks with original paint, original screen chainguard, wide apehanger handlebars, matching Schwinn hand grips, cool rear sissy bar and so much more! I dont know where you would find another like it!

The bike is an original single speed with operable brakes. The seat is original and has survived quite well!

It has the cool Stingray tag on the rear as well as the reflector mounting tab! Has a small cut but looks nice overall!

It has the original chrome Schwinn double knurled S-7 rims with a Bendix hub. Both front and rear tires hold air.

Both are Schwinn tires and I believe are original for the bike. I like the rear GRIPPER SLICK!

This bike has the cool clear reflector pedals in place! They were only used for the first quarter of 1971 (Jan-March) and are always missing! These are actually in place they have some wear but all 4 reflectors are in place! This one was bought by a local guy from the original owner. It went into his basement way back in 1991 and has not seen the light of day since. Check out the seat tube license from Ann Arbor, MI from 1973! The bike guys/gals have one of the biggest vintage bike swaps in the world there in Spring!

You RARELY find these bikes anymore! They were all abused and thrown away back in the 1970s-80s.

I believe this to be a fairly nice original unmolested bicycle unless otherwise noted. This includes what I pay for packing. NOTED FLAWS It is not 100% flawless but is not bad for its age! The paint looks respectable for a 40+ year old boys bike! Most were trashed or repainted back in the 1970s!

The paint has obvious chips scratches etc. NOTE, the paint does have some touch ups if you look very close! The chrome is shiney but is not perfect show quality. Both wheels have a slight wobble when you spin them. Sorry for the LONG description, these bikes really excite me.

People will ENVY you when you ride by at a car show or on the street with this bike! I try to list anything I notice with the bike. Keep in mind this is a vintage bike that has probably not been ridden for a while so it may need minor tuning, bearings greased, polishing, etc, These bikes are getting harder to find and are more popular than ever before! You will enjoy owning, riding, and displaying it for years!

People always remember these bikes but seldom see them in person. I take them in to have them packaged so they almost always arrive in the same condition as they left us. Fed Ex just increased the rates. This is a 10+ day service and includes packing. I always try to keep things as reasonable as I can. They are all available right now!
