1971 SCHWINN STINGRAY BOYS 3-SPEED STIK MUSCLE BIKE LEMON PEELER FRAME VINTAGE! Here is a rare original October 1971 SCHWINN STINGRAY 20 BICYCLE! (KG Serial Number) This bike is from the era when most everything was cool! The HEMICUDA, Mach 1 Mustang, and Camaro Z-28 come to mind!

This bike is in very original condition. In fact, as far as I can tell, nearly every single part of this bike is original. SEE PICS and be your own judge! This bike has been in long term storage and has not been owned by collectors. Be the first to get this bike back into the light and enjoy it! The bike is in the original and very appealing KOOL LEMON YELLOW (Lemon Peeler Krate color) factory painted color.

The bike has cool style frame and forks with original paint, has the correct rear brake and bridge for a Krate. I believe the frame is the exact date and model as a 5-speed stik Lemon Peeler Krate bike original screen chainguard, wide apehanger handlebars, matching Schwinn hand grips, bonus yellow accessory LEVER COVERS, cool rear sissy bar and so much more! I dont know where you would find another like it! The bike is an original three speed STICK SHIFT with operable brakes.

(brakes work but it doesnt seem to shift) The seat is original and has survived quite well! It has the cool Stingray tag on the rear as well as the reflector mounting tab! Has a small split but looks nice overall! It has the original chrome Schwinn double knurled S-2 rear rim and a S7 front. Both front and rear tires hold air. The front is a Schwinn white stripe and I believe are original for the bike. The rear is a slightly newer cheater slik tire! Now is your chance to own one of the COOLEST bikes EVER MADE! Make someone in your life happy with this one. This is a cool bike that you can enjoy for years! You RARELY find these bikes anymore! They were all abused and thrown away back in the 1970s-80s. Finding one these days is a big challenge. They are very cool and people enjoy owning, riding, and displaying them!

NOTED FLAWS It is not 100% flawless but is not bad for its age! The paint looks respectable for a 45+ year old boys bike! Most were trashed or repainted back in the 1970s!

The paint has obvious chips scratches etc. This is the perfect basis for a Lemon Peeler Krate bike if you want to go that direction. The chrome is shiney but is not perfect show quality. Both wheels have a slight wobble when you spin them.

(most every used bike out there seems to) Rear wheel is missing a couple spokes. Sorry for the LONG description, these bikes really excite me. People will ENVY you when you ride by at a car show or on the street with this bike! I try to list anything I notice with the bike.

Keep in mind this is a vintage bike that has probably not been ridden for a while so it may need minor tuning, bearings greased, polishing, etc, These bikes are getting harder to find and are more popular than ever before! You will enjoy owning, riding, and displaying it for years! People always remember these bikes but seldom see them in person.
