1970 SCHWINN LEMON PEELER KRATE MUSCLE BIKE VINTAGE STINGRAY 5-SPEED STIK S2 70. Here is a rare original November 1970 Schwinn Stingray "LEMON PEELER" 20 Krate MUSCLE BIKE! (LF Serial Number) This bike is from the era when most everything was cool! The HEMICUDA, Mach 1 Mustang, and Camaro Z-28 come to mind!

This is agruably one of the very COOLEST Schwinn bikes of all time! EVERY kid wanted one back in the day...

Few were lucky enough to own one. You did not see them often back in the day, and almost NEVER see them in any condition these days! They were designed after the drag racing muscle cars of the time!

They hit the nail on the head with this one! The bike is LOADED with cool options only found on the top of the line "Krate" series at the time.

The bike has the cool correct original paint "cantalever" 5-speed Schwinn frame, cool wide apehanger handlebars, matching Schwinn yellow hand grips, chrome Schwinn SPRINGER front forks with S bolts, reflector bow pedals, chrome front and rear fenders, 5-speed "Mag" sprocket, cool rear SHOCKS sissy bar and so much more! It has the cool Schwinn S7 front rim with the correct ATOM drum brake. Has a modern bolt for a stop nut The rear wheel is a 5-speed S-2 Schwinn rear wheel. Both front and rear tires hold air. The front tire is a Schwinn.

Ok for display or replace for riding. Has a split The rear is a cool looking whitewall slik non Schwinn tire. I dont know where you would find another like it! The paint looks original but is rough. The chainguard has what is left of the original screen.

The bike has the cool 5-speed STICK SHIFTER and hand controlled brakes. The shifter side cover was missing so I picked the one up that is on it.

Consider it a free bonus. Something is better than nothing Screw turned in most of the way but not all the way.

Seat looks original but needs obvious resto. I got it basically like you see it and did NOT take it apart to date parts. Krate bikes and parts are a good investment! I bought this bike at the old Memory Lane Swap meet in Ohio.

I have too many bikes in my personal collection so I decided to offer this to you. These bikes have skyrocketed in value and just continue to go up!

This is a cool bike that you can enjoy for years! You RARELY find these bikes anymore! They were all abused and thrown away back in the 1970s-80s. Finding one these days is a big challenge. They are very cool and people enjoy owning, riding, and displaying them!

Most people do not sell these bikes once they have them. Be the first to get this bike back out in the light and have fun with it! I believe this to be a fairly nice original unmolested bicycle unless otherwise noted. I got this one just like you see it.
