1969 SCHWINN TYPHOON MENS BEACH CRUISER BICYCLE S7 AMERICAN CORVETTE VINTAGE 69! Here is an original VINTAGE I believe made Novemeber 1969. The serial number is LE men's Schwinn TYPHOON beach cruiser bicycle with 26 wheels.

It is in the original and very appealing RED colored factory paint. If you like COOL original USA built bikes of the time, this may be a great bike for you. With the insanely high price of gas (and the economy being bad) now is the time to ride a cool vintage bike! This bike has a cool mens cruiser style frame and forks with original paint and decals, (forks appear to be slightly raked forward) original chainguard, (has a fresh decal) Schwinn cruiser style seat, not the front edge of the seat is not attached to the base. Either repair or replace or display it like it is Schwinn seat post clamp, wide cruiser handlebars, Schwinn hand grips, full fenders, (have dents) Schwinn pedals, and more!

I absolutely love the Schwinn middleweight series of bikes of this era! (Panther, Jaguar, American, Corvette, Typhoon, Hollywood, etc) This one appears to be basically all original parts from when it was new. (see pics and be your own judge).

The tires are 26x1 3/4. They are vintage slightly newer replacement tires and do hold air.

(the one still has injection moulding nubs) The bike has factory chrome Schwinn S7 rims front and rear with a Bendix rear hub. (has a minor side ding) DIMENSIONS The stand over height is approx 30.

The distance from the floor to the top of the seat post clamp is approx 28. The distance from the center of the crank to the top of the seat post clamp is approx 18 1/2. The center of the handlebar stem to the center of the seat post is approx 22. The bike will accommodate most any rider comfortably.

The seat height is easy to adjust. NOTED FLAWS It is not 100% flawless but is not bad for its age! I love original paint bikes!

(has obvious chips scratches etc) The chrome is shiny but is not perfect show quality. Both wheels have a slight wobble when you spin them. (most every used bike out there seems to). The lower rh cantalever bar is separated from the frame. You may not even notice but I like to be honest.

(I dont believe it will effect performance) A cool USA built bike priced right! I hope you love it! This appears to be a fairly nice original unmolested bicycle unless otherwise noted. A great bike to ride on relaxing days through the park or to the beach.

Also would be a nice item to display in a shop, restaurant, rec room, sports bar, etc. Stand out from the crowd and be the envy of people who see you riding by. People will enjoy seeing you on your vintage bike!

A great classic bike at a great price Why not ride a bike? If you are looking for a fun bike to ride and enjoy this may be it! A nice bike to cruise the beach or your local park! These are getting to be hard to find in any condition and to my knowledge, have not been reproduced. PLEASE NOTE that many of the bikes I list have listed have been in long term storage and have not been regularly ridden in a while.
