1968+ SCHWINN STINGRAY RUNABOUT 2-SPEED S2 BICYCLE REAR WHEEL+SLIK VINTAGE BLUE! Are you looking for the impossible??? Here is an original 2-SPEED blue band kickback rear wheel, S2 rim, and hub assembly which was removed from a 1968-70 Schwinn Stingray Run-A-Bout. These bikes were only made for 2-3 years and are very unique. You get the wheel as shown in the pics. It is a chrome 16z2.125 Schwinn S-2 wheel with a Schwinn Gripper Slik 16x2.125 tire. What you see is what you get as shown. I hope you love it! Many Schwinn collectors have never even seen or heard of them! These bikes are portable and can fit in the trunk of your car.

They are great for camping, people with an apartment, or just for the collector who thought they had them all. These are an absolute blast to ride! You pedal backwards to change gears! This is a complete assembly! Skip the goofing around and have a 2 speed on your bike in no time!

IF you have never ridden one of these, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT! NOTE, when I went to check it, things are stiff. The hub will need to be regreased/overhauled before you ride it! (or use it as it is for display) Tire holds air but shows age.

This stuff is often used by people to make "Mini" krate bikes which were never manufactured by Schwinn. I know a Collector in Chicago that has the whole lineup and they are awesome! You pedal backwards to change gears and it works! This is a turnkey assembly ready to put on your bike!
