1968 SCHWINN STINGRAY BANANA SEAT RAT ROD MUSCLE BIKE SPRINGER SLIK VINTAGE. Here is a rare original December 1968 SCHWINN STINGRAY 20 BICYCLE! (MD Serial Number) This is from a great era of arguably the coolest bikes ever made!

This is a cool bike for display, restore, or to cruise around in its cool rat rod type condition! The bike was born in the cool radiant red (Apple Krate Stingray color) The bike has cool really wide apehanger handlebars, matching red Schwinn hand grips, (have corner wear) original chainguard, (has a fresh decal) cool rear sissy bar, slightly newer banana seat, Schwinn pedals, and so much more! I dont know where you would find another like it! Has chrome non Schwinn wheels front and rear.

Check out the dated wide rear Schwinn Stingray SLIK tire. (I took a close up of the date code for you purists) The bike has a modern but cool SPRINGER fork!

The original one is included but bent. (Not hard to straighten if you decided to go that direction) A fun bike with lots of potential priced right! I bought this one a few years ago at the famous Memory Lane bicycle swap meet in Ohio.

I always intended on taking the time to remove the black paint but never took the time to do so. You never know what you find underneath! Now is your chance to own one of the COOLEST bikes EVER MADE! Make someone in your life happy with this one. This is a cool bike that you can enjoy for years!

You RARELY find these bikes anymore! They were all abused and thrown away back in the 1970s-80s. Finding one these days is a big challenge. They are very cool and people enjoy owning, riding, and displaying them! Most people do not sell these bikes once they have them.

Be the first to get this bike back out in the light and have fun with it! I believe this to be a fairly nice original unmolested bicycle unless otherwise noted. NOTED FLAWS I got this one just like you see it. The bike was repainted long ago.

(Im guessing it wont be hard to remove) The chrome is shiney but is not perfect show quality. Both wheels have a slight wobble when you spin them. (most every used bike out there seems to) If you are a "nut and bolt purist" this is not the bike for you. If you would enjoy a vintage real deal Schwinn Stingray at a great price, you may enjoy this one!

Sorry for the LONG description, these bikes really excite me. People will ENVY you when you ride by at a car show or on the street with this bike! I try to list anything I notice with the bike. Keep in mind this is a vintage bike that has probably not been ridden for a while so it may need minor tuning, bearings greased, polishing, etc, These bikes are getting harder to find and are more popular than ever before!

You will enjoy owning, riding, and displaying it for years! People always remember these bikes but seldom see them in person. I take them in to have them packaged so they almost always arrive in the same condition as they left us.
